HOMEBASE Moose Jaw

Welcome to HOMEBASE Moose Jaw

This location is inspired by youth through engagement with the Youth Impact Committee. Service providers will work to make sure that youth have access to the services they need, as quickly as possible, while honoring each youth’s unique story. Services will be voluntary and recognize that sometimes youth need more time before they’re ready to fully engage in support. Plus a foosball table, snacks, and free Wi-Fi and computers.

HOMEBASE is a safe space for all youth, where they are supported and encouraged to come exactly as they are. We welcome and respect people of all sexual orientations, gender identities, ethnicities, faiths, race/nationalities, and abilities.

Services at HOMEBASE Moose Jaw

Services will be available for both scheduled appointments, as well as walk-in services to accommodate the different needs and lifestyles of those who will access services. Saturday services will be updated.

Monday

Community and Social Services 11:00am- 7:00pm

Creating linkages to community support and social opportunities will be provided by the HUB on an on-going basis. Drop in services available.

Primary Health 1:00pm-4:00pm

Youth are able to access Mental Health and Addictions services daily.

SHA Autism Programming 1pm-4pm

Mental Health and Addictions 12:00pm-7:00pm

Youth are able to access Mental Health and Addictions counselling services daily by drop in or appointment. We offer a range of specialized services such as expressive art therapies, somatic experiencing, sand tray therapy, and a variety of emotional support groups.

Education, Employment, Training 11:00am-7:00pm

Youth are invited to use our Learning Lab. Our Learning Lab is equipped with private cubicles for youth to apply for jobs, documents, applications for housing and health forms.

Peer Supports 11:00am-7:00pm

Drop in and speak with a Peer Support worker to learn about the services provided within the hub or in the community.

Cultural and Traditional Supports 11:00am-7:00pm

HOMEBASE supports cultural traditions by providing a multi-faith space and an Indigenous space for youth to connect and immerse themselves in their beliefs on a drop in basis.

Moose Jaw Multicultural will be available from 2pm-4pm to provide newcomers support to youth.

Tuesday

Community and Social Services 10:00am- 7:00pm

Mental Health and Addictions 10:00am-7:00pm

Education, Employment, Training 10:00am-7:00pm

2:30pm-6:30pm: In partnership with The Nest Health Centre, primary care services including: Sexual health, general primary care, and mental health and addiction services will be available.

Appointments can be booked by calling 306-694-5554 option 4. Drop-in appointments are also available.

How to get here

HOMEBASE Moose Jaw is located at 52 High Street West (Main floor) in downtown Moose Jaw, accessible by walking and all means of transportation.

We have limited FREE parking in the back of the building in the parking lot. Please note, we do not have bike racks or room for bicycles inside the building, so we recommend locking your bike to a nearby lamppost.

Our integrated youth services are provided by YMCA of Regina, in partnership with the Nest Health Centre, Moose Jaw Family Services, Medavie, SHA Primary Care, SHA Mental Health and Addictions, Prairie South School Division, Holy Trinity Catholic School Division, Moose Jaw Multicultural, Journey to Hope, Moose Jaw Police Service, Square One Community Inc, Moose Jaw Public Library, and others.

HOMEBASE is all about service providers working together to focus on what each young person needs.
